My likes and dislikes in life
The most personal yet, this new talk explores my likes and dislikes in life by public Speaker in Elland Eric Sykes
We should all focus on the positive and I will give you a wide variety of my ‘likes’ which will include my hobbies, a few personal fashion choices, favourite food and drink and simple things in life which we can all enjoy.
I will also mention a few ‘dislikes’ and things which may irritate me a little, but I am sure the audience may share some of these!
Most importantly as the title suggests, I will try to convey my own philosophy of life whilst being in my early 70s. This talk could be used as a ‘taster’ before hearing others in my programme which explore some subjects in more depth.
An optional quiz is included at the end, as I enjoy producing and delivering them and opportunity for you all to learn something new.
This talk lasts about 45-50 mins, about an hour with the quiz.

Speaker in Elland, Eric will present his most personal talk yet, exploring his likes and dislikes in life. He focuses on positivity, discussing his hobbies, personal fashion choices, favorite food and drink, and simple pleasures everyone can enjoy. Sykes also touches on a few minor irritations that many may relate to. The talk aims to convey his life philosophy in his early 70s and serves as an introduction to his other, more in-depth presentations. An optional quiz at the end offers a fun and educational experience. The talk lasts approximately 45-60 minutes, extending to about an hour with the quiz.

Requirements:
A table needed at the front for me to use for my notes / items
No electronic items needed – but an upright piano (or touch sensitive electronic keyboard) is necessary for Talk 3
Fees:
None (I don’t charge to do my talks)
Travelling Expenses:
FREE up to a radius of 10 miles from home address (HX3), then 50p per mile if travelling by private transport
